The Cessna 406

The Cessna 406 Caravan II is a two- passenger single engine bush plane that Brian (the main character in the award- winning novel "Hatchet" ) had crash- landed in some part of North America. The inside of the plane looks something like this:

The outside of the plane is snow color with black stripes on the main body and a yellow stripe on the tail fin as you can see on the image below. The plane is quite small:
